I offer three collections to choose from. Wedding coverage starts at 3,200 for 8 hours. All collections include a complimentary engagement session, second photographer, wedding day coverage, high resolution photos, and an online gallery to view and download images.  I encourage Brides not to worry with things like shot lists. Other than family formals, our job is to photograph every detail and moment we see throughout your wedding day. By looking down at a list, it will only prevent us from seeing what’s in front of us.

Working 7+ hours on your feet can be long and tiring, so we greatly appreciate meals from our Bride and Grooms! Our only request is that the venue knows we need to eat at the same time you are eating so we are able to continue your coverage as your night progresses.

Do I get the rights to all the images?

Yes. I provide my couples with SHARED copyrights of their images. What this means is you have the rights of the images for personal use. I have a list of preferred printing locations but you are able to post these on facebook, twitter or wherever you choose. As a professional, I will use the images for marketing purposes only.

Q: What type of photography do you offer? 
     I am a wedding photographer, however I do specialize in couples in love! I offer engagement and anniversary sessions to all couples. 

Q: What is your style and approach to photography?
     As a natural light photographer, I chase light. Using the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career, I manipulate light to provide bright, airy, and clean photos. By using the light and guiding my couples into comfortable, simple poses, it allows me to get those authentic, romantic photos you see throughout the site.

     Vanessa Marie Photography was established in 2012. We shot well over 75 weddings. 

Q: How much do you charge for wedding day coverage? 
     I offer three collections to choose from. Wedding coverage starts at 3,200 for 8 hours. All collections include a complimentary engagement session, second photographer, wedding day coverage, high resolution photos, and an online gallery to view and download images. Q: Do you have an assistant photographer? 
     Yes! I’m so blessed to have my dashing husband, Jorge, as my main second photographer. On the rare occasion Jorge is not present, I will have another photographer present with me on your wedding day.

     I live in Phoenixville, PA. And Yes! We LOVE to travel! We will go just about anywhere. We have a separate collection for destination weddings, please contact me to see these collections. 

Q: How do I book you for my wedding day? 
     I would love to meet first to ensure we are a good fit for each other! I’m available for coffee or we can hang back in our yoga pants with a glass of wine for a Skype session!

Q: Ok! We are booked, what are the next steps? 
     After I receive the 40% retainer (which guarantees that I hold the date exclusively for you) and contract, we will move forward and book a date for your engagement session. Throughout the months I will touch base with you to see how wedding plans are coming along and start planning for your wedding timeline. 

Q: How long does an engagement session take? And what should I wear? 
     As we get closer to your session date, I will follow up with you to explain what to expect as well as outfit inspirations. 

Q: Do you help me plan out our wedding day timeline?
     Yes. We will create a drafted timeline together in the quiet months, and as we approach your wedding day I will finalize the details with you. If you have a wedding planner, I will work closely with them to ensure time for photos and a relaxed day.

Q: What about a shot list? Should we give you one before the wedding?
      I encourage Brides not to worry with things like shot lists. Other than family formals, our job is to photograph every detail and moment we see throughout your wedding day. By looking down at a list, it will only prevent us from seeing what’s in front of us. 

Q: Do you suggest a first look for the wedding day? 
     Yes. First looks have become the new tradition/trend in weddings. This isn’t the only option, but it definitely is the best option for your photo outcome. It allows you to have a an intimate moment shared with your Groom, a stress free schedule, time for photographs, and best of all, you can join your cocktail hour!

Q: Do you have insurance? 
     Yes. Upon request, I can submit it to your venue. 

Q: What if we cancel our wedding or change the date after we signed a contract with you? 
     If your wedding date is canceled, your retainers will be kept in full. If I have availability, I will be happy to work with you to see if I’m available on your new wedding date. 

Q: What if you cancel or have an emergency? 
     We have not missed any of our weddings. But if I was severely injured, have a family emergency, or an act of God, we will find a replacement to take our place. 

Q: Do you need a meal at our reception? 
     Working 7+ hours on your feet can be long and tiring, so we greatly appreciate meals from our Bride and Grooms! Our only request is that the venue knows we need to eat at the same time you are eating so we are able to continue your coverage as your night progresses.

Q: What is your rate for overtime hours? 
     There is a $250.00 charge for any hour exceeding what is stated in the contract. This is of course always discussed and confirmed with you before doing so.

      We try to provide all our couples with a sneak peek to their wedding day while they wait for their photos. It typically takes 7-10 weeks for full editing completion.
